Product Description

This Strad pattern violin is on the border between intermediate violins and professional violins. It has a very nice, full-bodied and balanced tone and is quite playable. Visually, The Juzek 130 has the look of a fine violin rather than a student or intermediate instrument.
The 130 is fully hand-carved and expertly-graduated, which is a major factor with respect to sonority. It has extra-select nicely- flamed back and side and a fine grained select spruce top. This is a high quality step-up violin with powerful tone. Hand-varnished, quality ebony fittings, and a polycarbonate tailpiece. Set up with Dominant strings.

The bridge, of course, is a standard medium-high violin height. The plain ebony traditional tuning pegs are well-fit. It comes with a good quality feather-weight suspension case and pretty good brazilwood bow. The great sound of the instrument benefits from a better bow. In other words, a bow upgrade is strongly-suggested.
