In the early 20th Century, a talented Czech luthier name John Juzek began to make his mark on the stringed instrument world. Mr. Juzek a extremely prolific, with a keen eye and excellent attention to detail. When his brother immigrated to New York and started Metropolitan Music, he gained a worldwide audience for his high-quality violins, violas, celli, and basses. Word began to spread and the business grew. Nearly 100 years later, Juzek Master Art instruments are highly revered in the industry. Incredible tonewood, beautiful beaded edgework, fine arching, and accurate graduations - many professional musicians still rely on their handmade John Juzek Master Art violins, violas, cellos, and basses. With our model 190, we aim to recapture the glory of the Juzek Master Art line. The best tonewood is chosen for tone and appearance. Rare and desirable wide flame Bosnian maple like the original Master Arts. Precise graduations and unparalleled consistency are found throughout. Made by hand by master luthiers in the Juzek tradition. We are proud to honor John Juzek's legacy with the Master Art model 190 violin, Juzek’s finest offering.
