Handcrafted in Romania to Metropolitan Music’s specifications, the 108 5-strings uses high quality European tonewood – seasoned spruce for the soundboard and moderately flamed maple for the back, ribs and neck. Ebony fittings, Wittner tailpiece, and Helicore strings contribute to tuning stability and tone quality. A durable red-brown gloss finish adds to the aesthetic beauty, and the outline is graceful and well-proportioned.

In designing the Juzek 108 5-string, Metropolitan relied on musicians’ feedback to properly space the nut and bridge for optimal playability.
