These are about the loudest strings we have ever played, especially on the D and G. If you play an instrument that needs a little help with respect to making your D and G strings heard, these are the strings for you. Becuase of the bassy sonority and projection volume that these strings give you, they are particularly suited for travel violins and backpacker fiddles.  4/4 size.
