This beautiful and powerful instrument is a one-off by Don Rickert. It has a 16" body and an ample 30mm wide nut to accommodate 5 large octave viola strings.

Tuning is an octave lower than a viola, with an E-string on the high end. In other words, C2-G2-D3-A3-E4.
